Margaret (Maggie) Frates, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in medical dermatology. She brings nearly eight years of dermatology experience from her time at Dartmouth Dermatology in Massachusetts, where she cared for a diverse patient population and managed a wide range of skin conditions.

Maggie provides comprehensive dermatologic care for patients of all ages, treating concerns such as acne, rashes, and performing skin cancer screenings. She has a special interest in acne management and is passionate about helping patients feel confident in their skin. She is also beginning to incorporate cosmetic services, including Dysport treatments, into her practice.

Originally from Florida, Maggie earned her undergraduate degree from Elon University in North Carolina and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Bryant University in Rhode Island. She is excited to be back in the South and serving her new community.

Maggie prioritizes clear communication and patient education, working closely with each individual to develop thoughtful, personalized treatment plans. She strives to create a comfortable environment where patients feel heard and supported in their care.

Outside of the office, Maggie enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and exploring her new surroundings.
