Margaret (Maggie) Frates, PA-C, is a board-certified PA (physician assistant) specializing in medical dermatology. She joins Beacon Dermatology after nearly eight years with Dartmouth Dermatology in Massachusetts. Originally from Florida, Maggie earned her undergraduate degree from Elon University in North Carolina and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Bryant University in Rhode Island. She is excited to return to the South to continue her dermatology career. Maggie has a special interest in treating acne and helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their skin. She values building genuine connections with her patients and strives to make dermatologic care approachable and easy to understand. Outside of work, Maggie enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and exploring her new community.
