Lola Gifford, PA-C

Lola Gifford PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant with twenty-five years of experience in dermatology and internal medicine.

Lola graduated from the Stanford University Physician Assistant Program with honors and later pursued advanced training in dermatology at UC San Francisco Medical Center. After completing her studies, she worked in both internal medicine and dermatology in the Bay Area.

In 2000, Lola moved to Portland, Oregon where she practiced dermatology for twenty years. She recently moved to Asheville to be closer to family in the Carolinas.

Lola enjoys seeing patients of all age ranges for their dermatological needs such as acne, psoriasis, eczema, rashes and skin cancer, as well as hair and nail disorders. She has served as a medical volunteer in Africa and Latin America and is fluent in English and Spanish.

When she is not in the clinic Lola enjoys traveling, volunteering, hiking and exploring WNC with her family.
